Floor graphic showing the support that The Richmond upon Thames School has from it's partners to help nurture 'Excellence through Education'
School Minibus (ok it's a toy police van but its essentially a school minibus) and the graphics that are to be applied to it.
Tools required -  toy vehicle, cutting mat, ruler, sharp craft knife and a hairdryer
The graphics are cut and tested to see if they will fit accurately.
Vehicle is covered in white vinyl and the hairdryer is used to stretch the vinyl to fit better around corners and contours.
Completed project but the creases could have ben removed through more heat and rubbing.
Overall I am happy with the outcome but again more care would remove more creases.
I like to get carried away with any project and I love working on branding concepts. I decided to purchase a toy minibus (police vehicle) from eBay and then cover it completely with white vinyl to hide any inconsistencies and then apply the printed graphics. I want there to be interest when the minibus is viewed from buses as well as at street level, so I decided on a specific roof top graphic. It's for a secondary school but you can never start too early and get parents and potential students from being inquisitive about the brand.
